KSU "Cabinet of psychological and pedagogical correction of Kostanay region" of the Department of Education of the Akimat of Kostanay region, provides the state service "Rehabilitation and social adaptation of children and adolescents with developmental problems" from 0 to 18 years with the following disabilities: 1) children with visual impairments; 2) children with hearing impairments; 3) children with speech impairments; 4) children with speech retardation; 5) children with musculoskeletal disorders; 6) children with intellectual disabilities; 7) children with mental retardation; 8) children with disorders of the emotional-volitional sphere and behavior (autism); 9) children with complex health disorders. The main principle of the work is an individual approach to children, which is expressed in the search for ways specific to each child for the optimal development of his potential in the field of interests, abilities, inclinations and the development of individually oriented programs of developmental and psychocorrective work in order to maximize the mental and personal development of children. The defectology room is a specially equipped separate room for carrying out diagnostic, correctional, developmental and advisory work of a specialist with children with cognitive and learning disabilities. The office consists of certain areas that create an atmosphere of comfort and psycho-emotional comfort for the child, meets the requirements of necessity and sufficiency in equipping visible manuals, games, and simulators. Criteria for organizing the workspace in the office: scientific – providing a methodological basis for the specialist's activities, compliance with qualification and methodological requirements; health care – compliance with regulatory requirements for the prevention of overloads; age-appropriate child: providing conditions that meet the age characteristics of schoolchildren (difficulty level, compliance with the age range of game manuals, etc.); rehabilitation is the creation of conditions that maximize the correction of violations and compensation of the condition (a variety of environments aimed at correcting violations and developing different areas). Adaptive physical education classroom Adaptive physical education is designed to restore and preserve the health of children suffering from persistent disabilities, as well as to integrate them into the social environment. The main tasks that we try to implement in the adaptive physical education classroom are to prepare the child's body for stress; improve physical performance in children with disabilities; give children the freedom to choose the type of sport and form of physical activity they like; find an individual approach to each child who needs it.
